I was posting on the Linux Mint forum today and something happened that really pissed me off. There was a poll about which Linux features you liked best. Someone commented about how Linux doesn't spy on you and another comment was that there are some Linux distros that do. The example was the Red Star OS developed in North Korea. I commented "Well, duh. It's typical socialism." And I provided a link to an article about how the socialists in North Korea bastardized Linux to oppress their people like all typical socialists do.

No, it is not. Many nations around the world have some form of democratic socialism, and the people seem to like it, from what I have seen. Like the Scandinavian countries, for example.
